Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current state nursing license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Must hold a current nursing license. - BLS certification required. Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Orthopedic Surgery unit. The role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ideal candidates should be team players and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. The unit consists of 32 individual rooms and is staffed with a team of qualified healthcare professionals. Patient ratios on the night shift are 6:1, with potential stretch to 7:1. Typical procedures performed on the unit include dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter placements, NG tube insertions, and wound vacuum maintenance. Experience in orthopedic nursing is preferred. Candidates must possess the ability to care for patients as if they were family.
