What You’ll Be Doing Service and troubleshoot rooftop HVAC units, heat pumps, DX systems, pneumatic and electrical controls , and both commercial and industrial production and comfort cooling systems. Diagnose equipment issues , test and repair parts, and ensure proper system functionality. Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections per service agreements while maintaining efficiency and budget targets. Coordinate with the Service Coordinator on task planning, job prioritization, and material management. Maintain professionalism and cleanliness in appearance, vehicle, and tools. Accurately complete time records, work orders, refrigerant logs , and material returns. Maintain consistent communication about job status, locations, and tasks throughout the day. Adhere to all safety procedures and attend scheduled safety meetings. What Makes You a Great Fit 2–5 years of hands-on HVAC servicing, installation, and troubleshooting experience. High school diploma or GED. Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration cycle . EPA-approved CFC Certification – REQUIRED. OSHA Certification (training provided if not already certified). Familiarity with federal, state, and city codes as well as BOCA and OSHA regulations. Ability to handle multiple tasks , stay calm during urgent situations, and work efficiently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
