Located in Gladstone, OR Pay: 30+ (DOE) Job Full Description Diesel Mechanic Pay: Starting at $30.00+/hour (DOE)Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Schedule may vary) We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Replace or repair defective parts and components.
- Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Previous diesel mechanic experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and working with tools.
- Comfortable working in a shop environment.
