Working Title Transfer Student Success Manager Brief Summary of Work for this Position The Transfer Student Success Manager supports the Director in managing and overseeing programs, policies, and partnerships supporting transfer students from recruitment through degree completion. This role supports transfer student success by collaborating with other departments in Student Engagement, Enrollment and Retention (SEER), and various campus partners; supporting transfer programming and retention efforts; and contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance the transfer student experience. This position serves as a key resource for prospective and incoming transfer students, helping them navigate academic pathways and institutional resources to promote retention and student success. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree. Experience in working directly with college students to advise, supervise, or support them academically. 2-5 years of experience in academic advising, admissions, or working with community college or transfer students. Experience collecting, analyzing, and using data to inform work. Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Master's Degree in Higher Education or a closely related field. Demonstrated knowledge of transfer students' needs and best practices. Experience working with students, developing programs, and supporting students holistically. Commitment to and knowledge of best practices for transfer students, advising, retention, and/or enrollment management. Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit Strategic Enrollment Initiatives and Transfer Pathways support policies, programs, and partnerships to recruit, enroll, and retain students to degree completion.
