Assistant Controller

Target Compensation: $135,000 $150,000
Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller:
- Own the cash management process, including weekly 13-week rolling cash forecasts and reporting for leadership and private equity ownership
- Manage the monthly close process, financial reporting package preparation, journal entry approvals, and account reconciliation reviews
- Perform financial analysis including month-over-month, quarterly, trend, indirect expense, and SG&A analysis
- Lead and develop accounting team members, including oversight of the AP Manager and Senior Accountant
- Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls to support continued growth and acquisitions
Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within industry environments
- Prior leadership experience managing accounting staff
- Strong cash management, financial close, and financial analysis experience
- Experience working in rapidly growing, changing, or acquisition-driven organizations
- Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and lookup functions
