Register new and established patient

a. Interview patients regarding demographic and insurance information

b. Enter Data into the system

c. Update patient information on each visit

Collection

a. Collect co-payment and visit fee as per clinic policy

b. Post payment to the system

c. Refer patient to Manager for payment arrangement as per clinic policy

d. Explain charges to patient

e. Issue receipt

f. Reconcile payments twice daily per policy and deposit with Manager

Maintain provider appointment templates

a. Confirm patients for appointment in conjunction with MA

b. Block schedule when provider is not available

c. Reappoint patients in case of provider absence/ emergency

d. Explain to patient need for reappointments if applicable

e. Keep patients updated about waiting time

Maintain work area

a. Clean and organize front desk

b. Maintain Waiting room per policy

c. Maintain Patient restroom per policy

Answer and route phone calls

a. Take messages for clinic staff

Abide by Clinic Policy and procedures.

Participate in performance improvement (in-services, in-house education activity, performance appraisal)
