Rehab Aide
Reports To: Director of Rehabilitation

Under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation, implement an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each individual resident on their assigned floor.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transporting residents to and from the rehab gym
• Assisting with providing the equipment needed for new admits
• Auditing equipment for cleanliness, labels, and proper function
• Assisting with any clerical work, including but not limited to delivering updated care plans to residents' closets
• Assisting with maintaining the cleanliness of the therapy room and equipment

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be proficient in reading and writing and understand the spoken and written word.
• Must be able to hear with corrective or adaptive devices and see adequately with corrective eyewear.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend at knees and waist, push and pull, turn and lift a minimum of 50lbs.
  
  
  

Days/Hours:

Full-Time, weekdays 8 am - 4 pm.
Monday – Friday only
