Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at ISR Physical Therapy.
ISR Physical Therapy is an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist owned business with a focus on providing outstanding care to our patients. We have a diverse patient population that includes post-surgical rehab, general orthopedics, spine care, the injured worker, and functional testing from pre-employment to post-injury. Responsibilities:
Manage a comprehensive patient caseload - typically 2 patients/hour to ensure quality time with patients.
- Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and coordination
- Utilize modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy
- Educating patients on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. The ability to speak publicly is an asset.
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex patient cases
- Empathy and compassion for patients experiencing pain or limited mobility
