Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year A bit about us: A Chicago based boutique law practice working with clients in emerging technology is adding a junior to midlevel associate. The work sits at the intersection of AI governance, intellectual property, privacy, and public policy, with a steady mix of advisory, policy, and strategic counseling for innovative companies. Advise clients on AI governance and risk, including responsible deployment, documentation, and oversight structures. Support IP strategy tied to AI products, including copyright, trade secret, patent adjacent considerations, and licensing posture. Draft and refine policy focused work product such as comment letters, position papers, internal governance memos, and regulator facing materials. Track and synthesize regulatory and enforcement developments, then translate them into clear client action steps. Counsel on privacy and data issues that overlap with AI systems, model development, and product delivery Why join us?
