Position Overview

The Agency Producer is responsible for generating new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This position offers a performance-driven compensation structure and a clear path for advancement into programs such as Associate Agent, Protege, Business Insurance Agent, or AgencyOwnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and community involvement
• Educate clients on coverage options and recommend insurance solutions tailored to their needs
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to support retention and cross-selling opportunities
• Follow up on leads, quotes, and renewals in a timely and professional manner
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and production goals
• Support agency marketing and local outreach efforts
• Maintain accurate documentation and client records

Protege Program

The Protege Program is a development track for individuals who aspire to own their own Farmers agency. Proteges work directly under a successful Farmers agent, learning the day-to-day operations of running an agency — including sales, marketing, client service, and business management.
