Journeyman Plumber

Description & Details:

Responsible for repair, maintenance and installation of plumbing and HVAC systems and equipment on the North Dakota State University campus. Responsibilities: Repair and maintenance of plumbing systems and equipment; Repair and maintain heating system piping and equipment; Installation of new plumbing and HVAC systems; Repair and maintain HVAC equipment.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM with rotating 24/7 callback schedule. Flexible working hours may be available based on operational needs and position responsibilities.

Hiring Range: $56,000 - $62,000/year

Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years journeyman plumber
• Journeyman Plumbing License
• Ability to acquire city licenses
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial plumbing experience

Core Competencies:

Torches, press equipment, pipe threading machine, sewer cleaning machine, hammer drill, computer skills.
