Position Overview The McMinnville Clinic Manager provides overall clinical and operational leadership for the McMinnville practice, creating an environment where employees are supported, providers can deliver exceptional care, and patients experience coordinated, compassionate service. As the primary leader for the clinic, this position connects people, operations, and organizational priorities while strengthening the practice's presence and ability to meet the oncology and hematology needs of the community. The Manager is accountable for the clinic's overall effectiveness, culture, and continued development, balancing excellent patient care with a sustainable, high-performing practice. Essential Job Functions Leadership
- Provide day-to-day leadership, support, and clinical oversight to nursing and clinical support staff, promoting accountability, engagement, and alignment with organizational goals and patient care standards.
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment by building strong relationships with staff, providers, leaders, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports to support professional growth, address concerns, review performance, and align individual goals with departmental objectives.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, mentor, and retain high-performing clinic and nursing staff in alignment with organizational values and culture.
- Ensure team members have the resources, education, and support necessary to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
- Provide timely coaching, clinical guidance, and performance feedback to promote accountability, professional development, and excellence in patient care.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key clinic and operational metrics, including quality, safety, patient experience, staffing, and productivity measures.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that supports employee engagement, teamwork, and organizational values.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by encouraging education, certification, professional development, and evidence-based nursing practice.
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model, supporting staff in complex patient care situations and operational challenges.
- Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure safe, efficient workflows and high-quality patient care across the clinic.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, organizational policies, HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention practices, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage staffing schedules and staffing resources to ensure appropriate patient coverage and efficient clinic operations.
- Monitor patient flow, clinic capacity, and resource utilization to optimize access, efficiency, and patient experience.
- Support clinical quality initiatives, patient safety programs, and process improvement efforts that enhance care delivery and operational performance.
- Collaborate with providers, pharmacy, laboratory, and operational leaders to coordinate patient care and improve clinical workflows.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and address concerns in a timely manner while identifying opportunities for service excellence.
- Lead and facilitate all clinic and interdisciplinary team meetings to communicate priorities, review outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure staff competency through ongoing education, competency validation, training, and orientation programs.
- Support implementation of organizational initiatives, clinical programs, and strategic priorities.
- Manage clinical supplies, equipment, and operational resources to maintain efficient and effective patient care services.
- Participate in special projects, quality initiatives, accreditation activities, and community outreach efforts as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to support departmental goals and organizational success.
- Current Oregon RN license in good standing or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, including responsibility for staff supervision, performance management, and clinical or practice operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective working relationships with physicians, APPs, nurses, and operational partners.
- Working knowledge of ambulatory healthcare operations, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality standards.
- Experience managing staffing, workflow, competing priorities, and operational resources in a complex healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and performance measures to identify issues, evaluate results, and improve operations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing operational needs.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and standard business applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
