Senior SAP Project Systems (PS) Functional Consultant

We are seeking a Senior SAP Project Systems (PS) Functional Consultant to lead requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, configuration, testing, and rollout of SAP PS solutions. This role will work closely with Finance, Project Controls, and IT stakeholders to ensure project accounting, cost control, and reporting requirements are effectively mapped to standard SAP PS capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops to gather project accounting and control requirements
• Understand and document As Is project processes, including:
• Project structuring (WBS, networks, activities)
• Project budgeting, cost planning, and forecasting
• Actual cost capture, settlements, and revenue recognition
• Integration with Procurement, Finance, and Controlling
• Perform fit gap analysis between business requirements and standard SAP PS functionality
• Configure SAP Project Systems, including:
• WBS structures and networks
• Budgets, availability control, and cost planning
• Milestones, billing elements, and settlements
• Define and support integration scope with:
• SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO)
• Controlling objects (cost centers, internal orders, assets)
• Procurement (MM), Sales (SD), and Plant Maintenance (PM), where applicable
• Support functional testing, integration testing, and UAT, including defect resolution
• Produce key deliverables such as:
• Scope definition and fit gap analysis
• Effort estimates and implementation sizing
• High level implementation timeline and dependencies

Required Experience

• 8+ years of SAP Project Systems functional consulting experience
• Strong expertise in SAP PS within S/4HANA environments
• Solid understanding of project accounting, budgeting, cost control, and settlements
• Experience leading requirements gathering and fit‑gap assessments
• Hands‑on experience with PS integrations to FI/CO, MM, and SD
• Experience supporting UAT and project rollouts

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Project Systems certification
• Experience with large‑scale or complex project‑based organizations
• Exposure to Capital Projects, Engineering & Construction, or IT project accounting
