Position Details: Registered Nurse Pediatric CICU - Houston, TX Location: 7600 Fannin, Houston, TX 77054 Project Duration: Full Time/Permanent Shift Timing: Nights Rotating Weekends 7P-7A or 11P-11A Salary: $42.03 - $65.10 (based on years of experience) Sign on bonus: Case by Case basis Relocation assistance: Case by Case basis

Position Summary What you will do in this role:

• Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill patient with Congenital Heart Disease and/or Surgery
• Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be individualized, family centered and holistic
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• Participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvement
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree; BSN required w/6 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
• Must have 1 year recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
• CCRN Preferred
