Direct Support Professional (DSP) Part Time, North Providence, RI, US Salary Range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour Hours: Saturday 4:00 PM–12:00 AM & Sunday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Sign‑On Bonus: $1,000.00 (Pro‑rated for Part‑Time) Overview We offer a supportive, compassionate environment where Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide supervision and hands‑on, person‑centered care for adults with autism and other developmental disabilities in our residential group home setting. Our team includes Residential Manager, Assistant Manager, and peer DSPs, and we emphasize resident choice and independence. Benefits Low staffing ratios Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Mileage reimbursement Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals who have autism and developmental disabilities; 3+ years preferred High school diploma Must be able to read, write, and speak in English proficiently Ability to speak, see, and hear clearly; write legibly for documentation Basic computer skills Professional and respectful communication skills with clients and families or other parties Ability to intervene with clients when needed to implement behavioral interventions, including physical restraint, lifting, and transporting in vehicle General responsibilities such as house cleaning, assistance with toileting/showering, job coaching, role modeling, etc. Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, reach, and/or move regularly Valid driver’s license (at least 3 years) and registered/insured vehicle CPR/First Aid Certification (training provided if needed) Pro‑ACT Certification (training provided if needed) Medication Administration Training (training provided if needed) Extensive new employee orientation Initial and ongoing "in‑house" training on a wide array of topics Access to professional trainings throughout the year Behavior Management training Opportunities to pick up extra shifts Growth opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr The Groden Center
