Student, Usher - Wachholz College Center KALISPELL, MT 59901 Overview Salary Range $14.00 - $15.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time High School Category Student Description DEPARTMENT AND LOCATION: Wachholz College Center, FVCC Kalispell Campus ELIGIBILITY: Open to all current FVCC Students, enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester. PAY RANGE: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour WORK SCHEDULE: Flexible schedule between Monday and Sunday, between 5:00pm to 10:00pm. May work up to 20 hours per month, but no more than 19 hours per week. DRESS CODE: All black clothing with appropriate coverage; closed-toed footwear is required POSITION PURPOSE/ROLE: Under the supervision of the Ticketing & Patron Experience Manager, the Student Usher provides excellent customer service, directing, and seating guests in the venue and serving as a welcoming face of the College Center for its patrons. POSITION DUTIES: Provides a superior level of customer service to all ticket holders and event attendees. Performs night-of-show usher duties such as greeting patrons, wayfinding, handing out programs, and assisting patrons with locating their seats. Provides night-of-show coat check services, when needed. Maintains professional ethics and confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and policies. Serves as an ambassador for the College. Participates actively to maintain a collaborative and collegial environment with colleagues and patrons. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. Reports to the Ticketing & Patron Experience Manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current FVCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester Ability to provide high quality customer service Ability to communicate effectively and professionally Ability to work independently and as a team player Ability to sit/stand for extended periods, and Ability to lift up-to 25 lbs. occasionally.
