Performance Analyst

Established institutional investment management firm offering mutual funds, separately managed accounts, model portfolios, and other commingled vehicles through intermediary and managed account platforms. Their investment teams provide a suite of fixed income, concentrated active equity, and multi-asset solutions.

Responsibilities :
Support GIPS compliance, investment analytics, quarterly marketing content, and regulatory reporting
Focus on composite construction, management, and performance reporting for investment products
Lead the firm-wide GIPS verification process
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of portfolio, composite, and index performance data
Oversee the timely and efficient generation of performance returns
Provide support for product data functions and ad-hoc requests from investment and management teams
Supply information for new business development (Marketing, RFPs, Databases) and client/prospect inquiries
Assist the data delivery team with firm/product content for marketing and external reporting
Review marketing content to ensure compliance with GIPS performance calculations and verification
Participate in special projects, including GIPS third-party verification, product reviews, and system transitions

Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
2+ years of experience in back/middle office investment roles with a focus on performance measurement and/or product analysis
Direct experience with GIPS standards and a strong understanding of fixed income products
Preferred: CIPM, CFA, or other relevant professional designations
Strong technical knowledge of markets, securities (especially fixed income), portfolio construction, performance, composites, and product analysis
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros)
Familiarity with investment systems, data providers, and analytics tools (experience with Seismic, Advent APX, Archer, Orion, Charles River, FactSet, Bloomberg, CAPS, Snowflake, etc. is a plus)
Ideal candidate will have domain expertise in performance measurement, technical skills in investment systems (SQL, VBA), and data manipulation, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
