Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in students’ lives by bringing your expertise in speech-language pathology to a welcoming elementary school environment. A dynamic contract opportunity is open for an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF) for the 2026-2027 school year. This impactful position features a supportive team atmosphere and direct engagement with students in Wilmington, DE.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Delaware SLP license (or the ability to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CF applicants encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience in school settings is highly valued
  • Not open to SLPA or teletherapy/VOCO candidates
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for students with speech, language, communication, or related disorders
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver therapy in group and individual settings to support educational goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and participate in school-related activities as needed
  • Participate at Forwood Elementary School, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am–4:00 pm, with a 30-minute paid lunch
