Responsibilities

• Lead technology projects supporting cloud, analytics, and infrastructure initiatives within a large financial services environment.
• Manage projects from planning through implementation and testing, coordinating technical and business teams.
• Maintain project plans, track issues and risks, facilitate status and risk management meetings, and deliver clear reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables align with scope, schedule, dependencies, and objectives.
• Support complex technology initiatives involving cloud, analytics, or infrastructure platforms.
• Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms for planning and tracking.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams across technical and business workstreams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders through status reports, meetings, and negotiations.
• Apply established project management methodologies and practices.
• Foster understanding of AI tools and workflows used to generate or work with data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on IT project management experience, including complex technology initiatives.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery management skills.
• Experience managing projects involving cloud, analytics platforms, infrastructure, or related enterprise technologies.
• Working knowledge of AWS/cloud environments and ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and technology implementation processes.
• Proficiency with project planning and management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms.
• Experience identifying and managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation plans.
• Ability to guide cross-functional project teams across technical and business workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including reporting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, and issue resolution.
• Experience with established project management methodologies and practices.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-enabled workflows, including tools used to generate or work with data.
• Financial services experience is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Optional: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
