Purchasing Assistant - Brooklyn, NY Seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support the Purchasing Manager in a busy office Direct Care Support environment. This is a possible temp-to-hire opportunity located in Brooklyn. Schedule Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate $27.50 - $30.22/hour Responsibilities Daily placement of orders for food, cleaning products, and office supplies Maintain and update spreadsheets and purchasing records Assist with administrative support for the purchasing department Track orders, inventory, and vendor communications Ensure accuracy with data entry and order processing Qualifications Strong administrative and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities Previous purchasing, inventory, or office support experience preferred Strong communication skills and reliability Temp-to-hire opportunity with growth potential for the right candidate.
