Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients of all ages, utilizing standardized testing and observational methods to gather comprehensive insights.
• Create tailored treatment strategies aimed at achieving short-term targets and addressing enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver dedicated one-on-one therapy focusing on language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Work hand-in-hand with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, family members, and caregivers, fostering a unified approach to patient care.
• Educate families and patients to facilitate progress and understanding outside of your sessions.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain continuity of patient care.
• Ensure documentation is precise and timely while adhering to various regulatory frameworks.
• Stay updated through continuing education opportunities and collaboration with peers in the field.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Credentials

• Active state licensing as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
