This role of Certified Personal Trainer focuses on delivering high-quality fitness experiences through education, engagement, and exceptional member service within the View email address on click.appcast.io group training program.Role and Responsibilities:As a Certified Personal Trainer, you will lead group fitness sessions and support members in building confidence, improving fitness levels, and using gym equipment safely and effectively. You will actively promote a positive and inclusive workout environment while delivering personalized guidance and assistance.* Organize and oversee fitness schedules including Orientation sessions and Develop Your Own Program (DYOP) training.* Support members in identifying fitness goals and demonstrate proper, safe use of gym equipment.* Encourage participation and foster a supportive atmosphere aligned with the Judgement Free Zone philosophy.* Conduct regular gym floor walkthroughs to enhance member experience and address concerns promptly.* Engage with prospective members through calls, facility tours, and training needs assessments.* Welcome members and guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and respond to general inquiries.* Handle phone communications professionally and provide accurate information about services and programs.* Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing fitness equipment, spa areas, restrooms, and shared spaces.* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report any unsafe conditions or behaviors.Required Skills and Experience:* Must be 18 years or older.* Valid Nationally Certified Training Certificate is required.* Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided by Planet Fitness).* Basic computer and system usage skills.* Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal abilities.* Ability to inspire, motivate, and support individuals in achieving fitness goals.* Dependable, punctual, and committed to excellent customer service.* Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform active duties such as standing, walking, bending, and twisting.### Preferred Qualifications* 6–12 months of experience in customer service or member-facing roles.* Prior experience in fitness, wellness, or health-focused environments.Compensation and Benefits:* Competitive and performance-driven compensation package.* Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance for eligible full-time employees.* 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan and Term Life Insurance.* Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts.* Paid vacation, sick leave, and holiday benefits.* Tuition reimbursement and professional development support.* Free Black Card Membership and employee wellness perks.* Team events, recognition programs, and employee discounts.About Planet Fitness:Planet Fitness is built on a culture of inclusion, respect, integrity, and community.
