PRODUCTION OPERATOR-PM

GENERAL PURPOSE This position is responsible for properly recognizing the correct linen belonging to the account being processed. You must ensure there is no mixed, dirty, or damaged linen before feeding it into the machine or hand‑folding it. You must maintain a fast pacing speed that meets the company’s expectations while practicing safety procedures. In addition, the Production Operator will help ensure the machinery is working properly by communicating any issues to their leaders. Duties and Responsibilities Feed machinery with sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins, and mats Maintain a clean and organized working station Ensure the linen being processed belongs to the assigned account Identify any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and properly place it in the correct containers Maintain an average of 85% or above for production based on the IT system (Spindle) Remain logged into the IT system (Spindle) while working on the machine Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required 3 months or more related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Ability to meet required performance goals and objectives Ability to work in both a team environment and alone Good oral and written communication skills in English Must have good attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Crown Linen, LLC
