We pride ourselves on our patient-centered approach and are dedicated to helping individuals regain mobility, improve strength, and enhance their overall quality of life.Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Paterson, NJ, designed to foster a supportive environment for both patients and staff. As a Physical Therapist, you will be part of a collaborative team that includes fellow physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.Key ResponsibilitiesIndividualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient conditions and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functionality.Therapeutic Exercises: Guide patients through targeted therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities that promote physical well-being and alleviate pain.Patient Education: Instruct patients on proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and provide guidance on home exercise programs to enhance recovery.Modalities Administration: Utilize therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy in accordance with treatment protocols.Progress Monitoring: Document and track patient progress concerning range of motion, strength improvements, and overall functional gains.Preparation and Maintenance: Ensure treatment areas are well-prepared and that necessary equipment is organized and ready for therapy sessions.Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.Emotional Support: Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients to foster a positive and motivating rehabilitation environment.Adherence to Standards: Maintain professional and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for patient rights.Patient Population / Client FocusOur diverse patient population includes individuals of all ages, from children needing pediatric rehabilitation to seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries. Your engagement with patients will be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery journeys.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.Active and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective patient interaction.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.Preferred ExperienceExperience in a rehabilitation facility or outpatient setting is highly desirable.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and rehabilitation software.Background in working with a diverse patient demographic, particularly with challenging cases.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
