Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: MRI Technologist \n Discipline: Allied Health Professional \n Start Date: 07/13/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n Duties: General Description: Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations for the purpose of aiding medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects and/or diseases. Essential Responsibilities: -Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. -Utilizing entry-level knowledge, abilities, skills and available resources, provides safe, high quality, efficient and cost-effective patient-centric care and support services under routine or emergent conditions in a variety of care settings to include, but not limited to; acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers and remote statewide outreach clinics. \n Education: Required Education: -Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty. OR -Graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty. Preferred Education: -Associate’s degree or higher. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for MRI Certification. Must be achieved within 12 months of hire date. -AHA BLS.
