Senior Procurement Analyst – Government Interiors Seating Location Colorado Springs, CO, USA Job Overview Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to support Government Interiors Seating component and sub‑assembly sourcing. The analyst will work closely with commodity managers to develop strategy, negotiate supplier contracts, prepare and send RFPs, manage project transitions, organize compliance documentation, and execute final contract awards for government direct product requirements. This is an onsite role in Colorado Springs, CO and is not eligible for relocation assistance. The analyst should be able to travel up to 10% of the time as required. Key Responsibilities Clearly communicate with commodity managers, internal customers, and suppliers. Prepare, negotiate, and execute RFPs with supplier partners. Apply technical acumen to understand drawing specifications and related requirements. Use Excel, Access, and other analytical tools to support procurement decisions. Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to develop and execute supply chain commodity strategies. Build strong relationships with suppliers. Organize documentation for compliance purposes. Review commodity markets and make fair and reasonable determinations. Manage and prioritize multiple projects with limited oversight. Communicate project status to leadership. Negotiate and execute supplier contracts and agreements following award. Analyze data and information to determine reasonable prices with commodity manager assistance. Qualifications – Must Have Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field. Qualifications – Preferred Supply Chain or Business degree preferred. Experience with a wide range of commodities, manufacturing technologies, and components such as machined, mechanical fabrication, welding, soft goods, leather, fabrics, cushions, foam, plastics, composites, and engineered items. Government purchasing and/or sourcing experience under FAR/DFAR regulations. Awareness and familiarity of government supply chain practices and commodity management sourcing practices. Strong experience with Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.) and some Access database and analytics methods. Supply Chain professional certification(s) such as CPIM, CSCP, CPSM.
