Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Tool & Die team. This role involves setting up and operating 3-axis CNC machines to manufacture high-quality, custom, one-of-a-kind parts and components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, the ability to interpret complex blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to precision and safety. Essential Job Functions Set up and operate 3-axis CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy. Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify parts meet specifications. Ability to complete some programming of the machine to make edits and offsets. Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Adhere to company safety standards and maintain a strong attendance record. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of experience machining custom, one-of-a-kind parts in a CNC environment (low-volume, high-complexity parts). Qualifications Proficient in G-code programming and CNC machine operation. Strong knowledge of cutting tool selection for optimal efficiency and accuracy. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve team goals. Effective communication skills for sharing instructions and feedback. Positive, professional attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience programming in CAD/CAM software, preferably Mastercam for CNC programming. Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 LBS, lift twist, grab, stand (up to 8 to 10 hours), walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
