Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry, Tehachapi. Provides coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups while supervising nursing staff and collaborating with other disciplines. The role applies critical thinking, professional judgment, care coordination, patient education, discharge planning, and evidence-based nursing processes to promote safe, effective outcomes.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) through an approved organization.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree; acute care experience.
- Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate care delivery; promote a safe and healing environment; collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers; provide health education; participate in discharge planning; delegate appropriately; and coordinate the duties of healthcare team members.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Assignment Dates: 11/16/2026 through 02/14/2027.
