Job Summary Seeking a skilled Echocardiogram Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures of the heart. Key Responsibilities Perform complete echocardiograms (transthoracic, transesophageal where applicable) and stress echocardiograms according to departmental protocols and physician orders. Obtain and record patient history, explain procedures to patients, and answer any questions. Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire diagnostic quality images. Perform measurements and calculations as required. Recognize and record normal and abnormal findings. Prepare and maintain accurate and complete patient records. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Schedule / Shift Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of an accredited echocardiography program. Current BLS certification. Certifications BLS Experience At least 2 years of experience as an Echocardiogram Technologist. Skills Proficient in performing transthoracic echocardiograms. Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and associated software. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
