Description - What You'll Do

• Perform a range of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Interpret and validate test results for accuracy while resolving discrepancies and ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Contribute to specimen collection processes and meticulously prepare samples for subsequent testing.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all laboratory procedures, support the training of new employees and provide mentorship to students, ensuring lab quality standards remain high.
• Uphold a clean and safe laboratory environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, paired with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science must be obtained within the first year of hire.
