Assistant Dietary Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Dietary Manager to support daily food service operations and help ensure high-quality nutrition services for our residents/patients. This role assists in supervising dietary staff, maintaining food safety standards, and promoting excellent customer service within our dining program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising daily dietary operations
- Support menu implementation and ensure compliance with nutrition guidelines
- Monitor food preparation, sanitation, and safety standards
- Help manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Train and support dietary staff members
- Maintain accurate records and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet dietary needs

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary or nutrition-related education preferred
- Previous food service or healthcare dietary experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
