Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and close sales with OEMs, dealers, end-users, and job shops.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers while identifying new sales opportunities.
• Serve as a technical resource to customers by understanding manufacturing challenges and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Work with customers on tooling, workholding, rotary tables, and machining-related solutions.
• Maintain accurate sales leads and customer information in the CRM system.
• Coordinate trade shows, customer open houses, promotional activities, and other sales events.
• Collaborate with the Inside Sales Team on quotes, technical details, customer requirements, and travel arrangements.
• Submit timely expense reports and follow company policies and procedures.
• Travel to customer locations a minimum of three days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in EDM, milling, and grinding is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of rotary tables, workholding/fixturing, and machining fluids.
• Proven outside sales or business development experience with a strong hunter mentality and demonstrated ability to generate and close new business.
• Technical education in electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical engineering is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with laser micromachining and additive manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience using commercial CRM systems; Sage CRM experience is a plus.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• High School Diploma required.
