Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge procedures, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility policies and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical discussions to ensure cohesive and coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Must hold state licensure as a Licensed Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory
