Licensed Speech Language Pathologist - SLP
Embark on a Journey of Healing and Connection in the Scenic Wonders of Nevada – Become a Speech Language Pathologist with Us
Imagine a career where every word you inspire carries the weight of purpose. As a Speech Language Pathologist in one of Nevada's most captivating cities, your role transcends conventional therapy; it becomes a medium for unlocking potential, nurturing confidence, and creating bonds—whether it's toddlers speaking their first syllables or older adults regaining their voice.
This position presents a remarkable opportunity to impact individuals of all ages, offering a blend of outpatient therapy with the occasional touch of inpatient care. Whether your enthusiasm lies in pediatric speech development, aiding adults with neurological challenges, or enhancing the communication skills of our senior population, you will discover both satisfaction and adaptability in this role.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized assessments and observational methods.
Formulate individualized treatment plans to cater to both immediate goals and everlasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions focusing on elements such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
Engage in collaborative efforts with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop cohesive care strategies.
Provide education for patients and their families to support progress beyond clinical sessions.
Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and care efforts, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the treatment process.
Maintain meticulous and timely records in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
Commit to remaining at the forefront of your field through ongoing education and professional collaborations.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.
A current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Adept in using evidence-based approaches for treatment across all ages, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care providers.
Ability to adapt therapy methods to accommodate diverse cultural backgrounds and linguistic needs.
Exceptional clinical judgment along with robust problem-solving capabilities.
Fluency with electronic medical records and compliance documentation practices.
Competitive salary reflective of your experience.
Flexible scheduling to enhance work-life balance along with diverse patient caseloads.
Opportunities to specialize, be it in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.
Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options are available.
Support for continuing education and professional development.
A collaborative atmosphere fueled by a commitment to quality care and lifelong learning.
In this position, you will do more than provide therapy; you will step into a community mission aimed at restoring voices, strengthening connections, and catching glimpses of joy in the simplest acts of understanding.
Joining our team means embracing a family-like atmosphere among clinicians dedicated to collaboration rather than competition. Each patient brings a unique story to the table; we'll rely on your expertise to help craft how their narrative unfolds.

With breathtaking landscapes surrounding you, including the majestic foothills and expansive blue skies, this region forms an inviting backdrop for those yearning for a harmonious blend of outdoor adventure, culture, and career opportunities.
Families gather in vibrant parks, indulging in the festive atmosphere while outdoor enthusiasts engage in hiking or skiing, depending on the season. It's a place where culinary delights abound, from local diners serving up classic bites to upscale establishments that reimagine traditional flavors.
The creative spirit thrives here, evident in the colorful art on display and the rhythm of music that fills the air at local events. For professionals, this region offers more than just a delightful lifestyle — its low cost of living and absence of state income tax create an environment ripe for growth and fulfillment.
Whether you are stepping into your first professional role or packed with years of experience, this community provides fertile ground for personal and professional expansion.
We seek a Speech Language Pathologist who is motivated not solely by results but also by the human element of care. A person who sees beyond the challenges, envisioning a future filled with expression and determination. Whether you're a pediatric expert ready to reach into the adult realm or a clinician focused on adults eager to weave in pediatrics, your passion for service will resonate here.
If you are prepared to lead with empathy and skill, we are eager to welcome you into our community.
If you view speech as a bridge not merely to communication but to connection, and therapy as a meaningful journey rather than a series of tasks — then this could be your next exciting chapter.
Join us in a community that champions understanding, connection, and the courage to start anew. Apply today to lend your voice to our team — and help others discover theirs.
