Craft individualized treatment plans focusing on both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.

Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions addressing various aspects of communication, including fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Engage in teamwork with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to design integrated care approaches.

Provide education for patients and families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.

Occasionally conduct speech therapy evaluations and interventions for inpatients, guaranteeing seamless care throughout the treatment trajectory.

Uphold meticulous documentation practices in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Commit to ongoing education and peer collaboration to remain at the forefront of the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet achieved.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment strategies for diverse age groups, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Outstanding interpersonal skills for engaging with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Ability to modify therapy techniques to accommodate diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Familiarity with using electronic medical records and adherence to documentation standards.
