• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that target a variety of needs, including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care strategies.
• Provide educational resources for patients and families to ensure continued progress outside the clinical setting.
• Assist with occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, guaranteeing seamless continuity of care throughout the healing experience.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Therapist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Adept in evidence-based treatment strategies across all age groups, with a robust understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
