Position Highlights

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics to assess their needs utilizing both standardized tools and observational techniques.
• Create tailored treatment plans that are responsive to short-term goals while thoughtfully considering long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure cohesive support strategies.
• Provide education and resources to patients and families that support progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Support inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the healing journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation according to state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing learning to stay abreast of latest trends and methodologies within the field through professional collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.
