Cafe Attendant Position: Cafe Attendant Job Type: Part-time Location: FFC Oak Park Required Shifts: Monday availability is a must, flexible for Saturdays and Sundays preferred. Typical shifts will be as follows: Monday: 2p-8p Saturday and Sunday: 11a-6p Your Role: Welcome with a Smile: Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience from the moment they arrive Engage & Assist: Use your strong communication skills to answer questions and assist customers with product selection, ensuring they have everything they need Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting caf area that reflects FFC's commitment to superior service Cash Handling: Manage transactions accurately, ensuring that the register reflects all sales and services Food & Safety: Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures according to local, state, and federal health codes Prepare Delicious Treats: Craft food and juice bar items following company recipes to delight our members Team Collaboration: Work closely with your teammates and supervisor, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to keep the caf running smoothly What We're Looking For: Outgoing & Friendly Personality: You love interacting with people and making them feel welcome Reliable & Punctual: You can be counted on to show up on time and contribute to a smooth-running team Coachable & Eager to Learn: You're open to feedback and eager to grow in your role Food Safety Certification: You must obtain an Illinois Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment (at your own expense) What We Offer: Insurance - Dental and Vision insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois 401K - with company match We provide fitness instructor training and significant discounts on these educational programs (Pilates, Group Fitness, Personal Trainer, Yoga) Other Perks of Working at FFC: Complimentary Club Membership to use any of our FFC locations!
