Title: Lead Psychiatic Care Technician State Role Title: Direct Service Associate III Hiring Range: Starting salary $46,250- Max salary $61,305 Pay Band: 3 Agency: Dept Behavioral Health/Develop Location: Northern VA Mental Health Inst Agency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties The Psychiatric Technician II is responsible to facilitate individual and group programs through planned, spontaneous, structured and unstructured activities that are provided consistent with overall active treatment programming as well as consistent with the individual patient’s comprehensive treatment plan and nursing care plan. In addition, this position provides leadership, teaching and role modeling to other Direct Service Associate II who function under the working title of Psychiatric Technician I and performs direct nursing care duties. The position functions under the supervision of a registered nurse. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Additional Considerations Prior health care setting experience delivering patient care. Prior work experience providing customer service.
