If you believe in the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, you'll be excited by the possibility of getting a foot in the door working in our Clubhouse kitchen as a full-time Dishwasher!

At our Clubhouse, you'll have the opportunity to support the kitchen in creating healthy, tasty meals for community youth, inspired by GREAT values: Generosity, Respect, Encouragement, Accountability, and Trustworthiness. Boys & Girls Club is committed to practicing those values to create a community organization where you can be sure you're making a difference.

We are looking for applicants available to work 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday. This role also includes some evenings and weekends throughout the year.

Applicants with a desire to commit to a culinary career are preferred, but no experience is required.

Responsibilities for Dishwasher:

• Keep kitchen and cafeteria clean and organized

These duties include:

• Washing specific dishes
• Setting up workstations
• Maintaining cleaning supplies
• Taking out trash
• Driving food to area locations
• Maintaining the safety of our children and staff, and ensuring an optimal experience for all

Applicants must be or become ServSafe certified within 90 days of employment.

Hiring Process:

• Application review (A complete application is required to move forward.)
• Phone screen after complete, qualified application
• Interview scheduled
• Final decision typically made within five to seven business days of application

Qualifications

Additional Qualifications for Dishwasher:

• Must pass Drug Test (for drugs illegal in the state of Nevada)
• Must Pass Background Check
• Must provide references
• Enjoys being busy with a basic series of tasks
• Dedicated to local community and youth
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds

Education:

• High school or GED (Preferred)
