Learn more about our fun family atmosphere by visiting us at reschcor.comOur benefits include: Incentive plans, competitive group health/ dental/vision insurance, company paid STD and life insurance, 401k retirement plan options with a company match, generous PTO, flexible unpaid time off, traditional and non- traditional schedules, structured employee training programs, development initiatives, and fun activities.Do you know anyone at Reschcor?Be sure to have them refer you so they can take advantage of our Employee Referral Program.Position OverviewThis position is responsible for productivity of the manufacturing extrusion line(s) while fostering a work environment that supports safety, productivity, quality, teamwork, and the Reschcor company culture and core values.Performs required tasks on multiple assigned extrusion lines per shiftPackages product neatly and accurately according to the packaging instructions.Performs basic quality checks using a length table and a tape measure at required frequencies.Performs basic visual quality checks for surface and dimensional defectsAssists the Lead Technicians with placing downstream equipment during changeoversAssists the startup of extrusion lines with direction from a Lead TechnicianAssists with grinding scrap at the production line.Performs basic troubleshooting of downstream equipment and performs minor adjustmentsOperates common packaging equipmentResponsible for any additional fabrication/end of line finishing that is required for a finished productCommunicates with Quality and Production team members regarding discrepancies in the work orders, packaging instructions, blue prints, and box labels.Reads and must understand blue prints, work orders, packaging instructions.Responsible for communicating quality concerns with the product that is being packaged.Understands and is proficient in utilizing the Quality Management SystemPractices 5s and lean manufacturing principles and is responsible to assure that lean practices are being maintained. This includes housekeeping on assigned extrusion linesParticipates in and actively supports the facility safety programsResponsible for assisting in providing relief to other Packers for breaksPerforms other duties as assignedRegular attendance patternPlease note: This employer participates in E-VerifyQualificationsQualifications IncludeHigh School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not requiredExperience in plastics is preferred but not requiredProficient with basic arithmeticAble to read and interpret documents related to quality, packaging, and work ordersAble to navigate and input data into Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and ExcelAble to navigate and input data into ERP system, preferably IQMSAble to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents.Physical RequirementsTypical non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment12-hour, onsite scheduleFrequent speakingConstant combination of standing and walkingFrequent gross and fine manipulationOccasional keyboardingFrequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting of up to 40 pounds.Occasional stooping, crouching, kneeling
