Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

This position will include the following, but not limited to, Receiving functions at GDR, Trane Technologies. Successful candidates will be able to: handle all emails and text messages promptly. Will understand our MDI metrics and prioritize actions. Must be able to learn our lean techniques for problem solving including A3's, 9 Steps and 5 Whys. Able to meet daily for team huddle. Bring knowledge and system acuity to improve accuracy for Receiving and follow up. Be able to run and review reports as needed. Daily work will include daily system inputs, completed by EOD. Review and resolve open non-conforming receipts. Be able to learn investigation techniques and apply as a self-starter. Ensure we are following Trane standards. Be able to review daily work, audit, stamp, date and sign off on inputs. Scan paperwork to Materials folder. Properly count and label (if not labeled) all deliveries. Be available for validation counts and paperwork review as needed. Report any discrepancies of damages to supervisor. Be able to assist with recording weights and/or dimension if necessary for PFEP. Be able to solve problems. Be able to 5S area. Be able to create consistency, improve processes and create standard routines. Be knowledgeable of Scanners/scanning systems. Be able to be flexible, update standard work as needed, find opportunities to reduce waste. Be able to work independently and work with a team. Must have attention to details.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• H.S. Graduate, College Degree, Receiving Experience

1-2 years of relevant experience in a marketing role.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Excel, Systems, Oracle, Cycle Counting, Inventory Control
