Interim Copyright Litigation Attorney

Major, Lindsey & Africa has an immediate need for an Interim Copyright Litigation Attorney in the Media/Technology Industry. Overview : Our corporate client is seeking an interim Attorney to join as an Interim Copyright Litigation Attorney. Company: A New York–based global media and streaming company. Experience: 4–10 years of litigation experience, with a strong foundation in litigation procedures and discovery, specifically in copyright in a technology or media industry strongly preferred. Location: Hybrid (one day in office/Wednesday). Responsibility Support the Global Head of Litigation or Head of U.S. Litigation on active matters. Help oversee the U.S. and Americas litigation docket, spanning routine disputes to complex litigation, specifically copyright. Manage outside counsel, including coordination, strategy alignment, and oversight. Assist with discovery processes, including document review, collection, and production. Respond to third-party subpoenas and related information requests. Provide litigation support and dispute counseling across a range of claims and matters. Offer product counseling and risk mitigation advice related to disputes and potential claims. Qualifications 4–10 years of litigation experience, with a strong foundation in litigation procedures and discovery Ability to work independently on key litigation tasks while collaborating with broader legal team Copyright litigation experience required Experience in technology and/or media industries strongly preferred Admission to the New York Bar required Preferred / Plus Factors Exposure to music industry or digital content issues Familiarity with copyright issues in a tech platform or streaming context Technical Skills- experience with google suite, slack and legal tech/AI tools (Claude) Information regarding benefits can be found on MLA’s Website on the Consultant Resources Page: All interested and qualified candidates should apply directly with Major, Lindsey & Africa for review and consideration.
