Location: Brooklyn, NY Duties: Represent clients in personal injury and other matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall cases, wage-and-hour claims, police misconduct, and contract breaches. Manage a caseload from start to finish, ensuring cases progress efficiently and effectively. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and responses to discovery. Prepare and present cases for trial, including depositions, pre-trial motions, court appearances, and appeals. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the case lifecycle. Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and expert witnesses to develop and present strong legal cases. Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admission to the New York Bar (federal court admission is a plus). At least 3 years of litigation experience, with a preference for plaintiff-side personal injury experience. In-depth knowledge of personal injury law, including relevant statutes, regulations, and court procedures. Proven ability to handle cases from inception through trial and achieve successful outcomes. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly. Excellent negotiation and settlement skills. Ability to manage a high caseload with attention to detail and deadlines. A track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
