American Salon Group is hiring a Salon Receptionist / Front Desk Associate to help create an amazing experience for every client who walks through our doors. If you have experience in customer service, retail sales, receptionist work, front desk operations, hospitality, appointment scheduling, or the beauty industry, we want to hear from you!

Salon experience is a plus—but great customer service, personality, reliability, and a willingness to learn are what we're really looking for.

What You'll Do As a Salon Receptionist / Front Desk Associate

You'll be at the center of the salon experience. You'll help keep the salon organized, clients happy, appointments running smoothly, and our team set up for success. Responsibilities include: • Greet and check in salon clients with a friendly, professional attitude • Provide outstanding customer service and guest service • Answer incoming calls and assist clients with questions • Schedule, confirm, and manage salon appointments • Assist with client booking and appointment scheduling • Check clients in and out • Operate the salon's POS / point-of-sale system • Process cash, credit card, and other customer transactions • Recommend salon services, promotions, and professional hair-care products • Support retail sales and product sales • Help encourage client rebooking and repeat business • Communicate wait times and assist with client flow • Maintain an organized and professional front desk and reception area • Stock and organize retail products • Assist stylists and salon leadership with daily salon operations • Help maintain a clean, organized, welcoming salon environment • Professionally handle client questions and concerns • Work independently while supporting the entire salon team We're Looking for Someone Who Is: • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with clients • Passionate about providing excellent customer service • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Dependable and punctual • Comfortable answering phones and communicating professionally • Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and POS software • Confident recommending products and services • Sales-minded and comfortable helping drive retail sales • Team-oriented with a positive attitude • Interested in the hair, beauty, cosmetology, or salon industry • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
