This is a Customer Quality Engineer role with a leading manufacturer in the converting and gasket industry. The position is focused on supporting a key customer account, ensuring excellent product quality as well as maintaining high standards for incoming materials and supplier performance, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Description

• Manage a large, growing customer account, ensuring top-notch customer quality
• Handle corrective actions and root cause analysis
• Work with supplier base to ensure that the inbound material quality meets specification for production
• SPC reports using Microsoft excel
• Inspections, utilizing visual systems
• Assist in PPAP documentation

Profile

• Engineering degree preferred
• 7-10 years of quality engineering experience with a focus on customer quality
• Experience working directly with customers and suppliers from quality perspective
• Strong ability to drive corrective actions
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel - Charts, Conditional Formatting, data entry and spreadsheet building
• Exceptional communication
• Knowledge of supplier scorecards
