Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through clinical expertise and compassionate support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, including equipment handling and infection control.

Qualifications:

• Possess active NY RN license and valid credentials.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and Oncology nursing.
• Hold current BLS, NIHSS, and chemo certification.
• Document recent travel experience and submit an up-to-date resume.
• Be able to provide a NURSYS report and verify licenses.
• Have a driver's license matching address with proof of residency.
