Controls Specialist - Louisville, KY - Nights (5 PM to 5 AM)Performs repairs and modifications to existing equipment. Repairs may require multiple trades (i.e., mechanical, electrical, plumbing). Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility. Perform troubleshooting on equipment. Perform new equipment installation. Perform proper lubrication of equipment. Perform work following Maintenance for Food Safety Program and Good Manufacturing Practices. Adhere to all company policies and Programs.What You'll Do:Repair of plant equipment and propertyMaintain plant equipment and propertyMaintain project workComplete Preventive Maintenance (PM's) of equipmentAny other work assigned as necessaryWhat You'll Need:Minimum of 2 years documented experience in industrial maintenance or completion of a maintenance apprenticeship programMust be able to work with the Maintenance Manager on equipment updates, concepts and projectsAble to work on projects from concept, design, material list/ordering and implementation.Must be able to document the project when needed (electrical, layout, operation, etc..)Must be willing to work off hours and days to complete projects if needed or to meet timelineMust be able to build electrical panels based off concepts agreed upon with maintenance managerMust understand electrical drawings, ladder programming, and the correlation between themMust understand electrical components (switches, photo eyes, proximity switches, NPN, PNP, NC, NO, sinking, sourcing, digital and analog)Must be able to work with Vendors and ContractorsWorking knowledge of industrial mechanics (power transmission, hydraulic, and pneumatics)Working knowledge of industrial electricityAbility to do assigned work efficiently and independentlyAbility to work without a supervisor and be self-directedAbility to clearly communicate with production and support personnelMust be willing to help train new mechanics.Must pass a maintenance aptitude testMust be able to perform all duties as assigned in the written work instructionsMust be able to lift up to 80 poundsInteractions:Will report to a Maintenance Supervisor.Must be able to develop working relationships with all co-workers.May interact with outside vendors and contractors.Why Teasdale Foods:Day 1 - Eligibility for Benefits (Medical, Dental & Vision)Day 1 - Accrual of Sick TimeAccrual of Paid Time Off at 30 Days401k Match at 60 Days
