Pharmacy Technician - Franklin, TN

A pharmacy opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support infusion pharmacy operations in Franklin, TN. This contract-to-hire position is ideal for candidates ready to start immediately and looking to transition into a permanent role.


Location:

• Franklin, TN

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and filling IV prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Assisting with prepackaging medications for dispensing in compliance with standards and regulations
• Collaborating with Billing Supervisor to enter data accurately for reimbursement processing
• Supporting the final check of filled prescriptions by the Pharmacist and packaging medications post-approval
• Maintaining inventory accuracy, including receiving, rotating stock, and posting lot numbers and expiration dates
• Ensuring a clean, safe work environment and helping check equipment calibration and cleanliness

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior experience with IV pharmacy preparation required
• Current Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license in hand
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred, though not mandatory
