IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Franklin, TN

An opportunity is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to support infusion pharmacy operations in Franklin, TN. This is an 8-week contract position with potential for contract to hire based on performance.


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV medications and fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Assist in prepackaging medication following regulatory standards
• Support the Pharmacist in final checks and packaging of filled prescriptions
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data and facilitate reimbursement
• Maintain inventory accuracy through receiving, rotating stock, and assisting in physical counts
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper calibration of equipment within the pharmacy environment

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Tennessee pharmacy technician license is required
• IV certification with prior IV preparation experience is essential
• National pharmacy technician certification is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow pharmacy regulations and standards
